About Our Founder
Mother Maddaline
Mother Maddaline Norfleet Affectionately known as "Missionary Maddaline"
Maddaline Ann Norfleet—affectionately known as "Mother Maddaline" across the nations and "Missionary Maddaline" within religious circles—is the heart and visionary behind Grace like Rain Missions. Her life’s calling is rooted in compassionate service, transformative leadership, and an unwavering commitment to vulnerable communities worldwide.
Mother Maddaline began her missionary journey in 2003 with a 25-day mission trip to India, an experience that ignited a lifelong passion for global outreach. Holding a deeply personal place in her heart for women and children, she has since directed extensive efforts toward breaking cycles of poverty and restoring hope. Through Grace like Rain Missions, she has spearheaded and supported the construction of primary schools across India and Africa, expanding access to education for hundreds of children.
Her global leadership extends to key executive appointments:
- Executive Board Member – Church of God in Christ (COGIC) International Department of Women
- Area Supervisor – COGIC International Department of Women (Region #10)
- Global Liaison – Serving as the vital link and support system for all indigenous supervisors residing outside of the United States
Traveling extensively across the globe, Mother Maddaline leads high-impact humanitarian initiatives, including medical clinics, Women's Empowerment seminars, and critical outreach relief programs.
She fulfills these global endeavors alongside her husband of over 50 years Bishop Joseph Norfleet and the proud mother of four. Through her leadership, grace, and relentless faith, Grace like Rain Missions continues to cover nations with love and tangible support.
